This Friday, guests and residents of Vilnius can be part of the first day of riverboat services. The regular passenger ferry service was started on the Neris River. The electric boats are part of the public transportation system.
For visitors of Vilnius, this new service also offers a chance to get a view into the Lithuanian capital from a different perspective. The 90-minute ticket is sold for 3 Euro online. If passengers purchase the ticket onboard, the costs are 4 Euro.
This Friday this new service starts. It will operate from 15:00 to 22:00 with a non-stop ride between the King Mindaugas and Verslo Trikampis docks. From tomorrow, regular service will start. This operates from 14:00 to 20:00 with five stops. These are Verslo Trikampis, Žvėrynas Bridge, White Bridge, Green Bridge, and King Mindaugas Bridge.
An extra highlight is that this new service is for free this Friday. Enjoy and have fun!
