So far, the record for most passengers in one day was at 18.409 people which traveled on July 18 in 2019 via Vilnius Airport. This record is history as there was a new mark. On October 25, 2024, there were a total of 159 flights scheduled via Vilnius Airport. This means that more than 19.000 passengers were traveling via the airport of the capital of Lithuania.
Beside the growing interest of people visiting Vilnius the start of schoolchildren’s holidays next week was a reason for those record-breaking numbers.
